    A follow up note to my comment on the film THE CHOSEN (see my post on your home page:
    THE CHOSEN in my opinion fits the description of the kind of movies you say you choose. It’s well done, provocative and not well known (the book is probably more popular than the movie). I read the book years ago but recently pulled a copy of My Name is Asher Lev off my book shelf and read it again which made me think to search for the movie The Chosen (Asher does not seem to have been made into a movie).
